Thank you for your interest in being a member of The International Center for Family Reunification
Membership in this organization may differ from membership experiences in other organizations, as the “membership” is more of a process that is grounded in experiential learning, individual and group consultation, review and analyses of your personal cases, and subsequently a certification. Becoming an active member will give you the ability to work directly with Dr. Stokes in a group cohort format.
This group is open, in the sense that new members will join at different periods of time. Your personal process through the group will be contingent upon completing the following objectives which will lead to certification:
One-hour group meetings held virtually twice a month will entail an in-depth analysis of the process of reunification therapy and its allied processes.
You will seek to have worked with at least 5 reunification cases. You may carry over two cases, but the remaining three cases must begin upon the start of your membership experience
85 hours of direct reunification therapy clinical hours, which are supervised by Dr. Jeremiah Stokes. The “supervision” is more so consultation, as Dr. Stokes can only formally supervise Florida professionals. However, the consultative process will be supervisory in nature.
Completion of a case conceptualization utilizing the SACRED model in working with one of your cases. The conceptualization will need to contain a write-up of your case, along with presenting the case orally.
When these objectives are met, you will receive your Certified Reunification Therapist credentials.
Join a community dedicated to advancing reunification therapy. Engage in expert-led discussions, gain hands-on experience, and deepen your expertise in the field. Membership supports your growth toward certification as a Certified Reunification Therapist.
Although this organization is in its early stages, we intend to spearhead substantial efforts to delineate reunification work from other therapeutic models as an imperative, evidence-based, and effective treatment modality within Parent Child Contact Problems (PCCP).
To become a member, you will have direct access to a set time with Dr. Stokes for two hours every other week. Upon initiation, you are also able to begin accruing the necessary objectives for certification.
Membership fees are $350 a month. Keep in mind, this is a group supervision/consultation group and not merely an organization with non-experiential components.
If you are currently a licensed mental health provider who is either a practitioner of reunification therapy or is seeking additional training on reunification therapy please reach out to our office.
